Default Just got Rogers USB - wondering about signal booster

Just signed up with Rogers and am on the 15 day trial.

Looks like this is going to replace my current WiFi ISP. Using them I can't even get on the net tonight (most pages time out). Least the Rogers Stick is allowing me that even if it is slow. (it's 9:00PM here so imagine it's prime time as it was fairly fast this afternoon).

Speeds weren't too bad this afternoon in general (actually faster then my existing WiFi set up) but signal is weak (only 2 dots) and it loses connectivity once in a while. I'm thinking a signal booster might help.

They gave me a Nokia Internet Stick CS-18. Wondering if there is a signal booster for it (it doesn't have a plug in for an external antenna) or should I take it back and get something else? Would rather go wireless as running cable is a pain.

Comments appreciated.

Strange..this is what I got this AM (watching a UTube video that ran seamlessly). Trying to really work it before 15 days up to see results. Been quit fast this am.

Incoming Outgoing

Current Transfer Rate 0 bytes/s 283 bytes/s
Average Transfer Rate 101 KB/s 2.47 KB/s

With results like this I'm quit happy..

be carefull, there is a line written into the contract that if you exceed some certain amount of data during the trial period you are locked into the contract regardless of what kind of service you are receiving. I think its something small like 50MB

That may just be Bell but usually the two (bell and rogers) tend to follow each other

Also, they start the 15 day trial as soon as you hangup the phone so if it took 3 business days to ship, your trial is actually only 12 days
