Default Coverage footprint? for Viasat-1 and Hughes Jupiter

Does anyone know the projected spot beam footprints for the new satellites and when they might be in service?

ViaSat 1 rough spotbeam map. http://www.xplornetsucks.com/forums/...49&postcount=3
From thread------ http://www.xplornetsucks.com/forums/...ead.php?t=1169

Launch scheduled of ViaSat1(WildBlue/Xplornet) for mid 2011. The one for Europe is already about 5 months late from scheduled launch.

Telesat has apparently said 'no' to anything to do with user services on the ViaSat1, so Xplornet bought all the available Canadian bandwidth(Xplornet had bought a portion in the beginning). http://www.xplornet.com/news/in-the-...satellite.aspx

Don't know what spotbeams are going to be. Hopefully they will cover the provinces into the far north.

But launch time plus in orbit testing time, so maybe January 2012 at the earliest if launch is on schedule(mid 2011). Unless they can test it in two months at the minimum. Hughesnet SpaceWay3 had beta testers before public release.
Hughesnet SpaceWay3 had about 8 months of in-orbit testing before release to the public. And some minor tweaking during service. And apparently has about 326,000 users on it as of late June 2010. So that would possibly leave about 200,000 users left on various KU band satellites.

Hughesnet 'Jupiter' is scheduled for mid 2012 launch.
