Man the luck I've been having lately..

So I managed to get them go half on the Activation fee. That took an hour of complaining. Then they placed the work order. Few days later.. I called my local guy and they told me they didn't have the work order yet.

I called back xplornet and they told me it could take up to 30 days to get the work order to my installer.. Soo.. more bitching.. I got it expedited and I'll get the new platform tomorrow.. Should be simple.. Take the old stuff out and put the new stuff in.

Though.. Apparently they have a new promotion that started this week. 25mbps with 500GB cap for 89.99$ a month. If that's correct that's not cool. Since I'm paying 99$ for 25mbps/250GB So I'll have to call them back and switch again lol.

TLR I'll have LTE tomorrow and hopefully will have my own review up in a few days.

UPDATE

Turns out my tower doesn't have LTE.. so the installer wasted an hour trying to lock us to another tower that was LTE ready.. Basically theres no ETA on when the tower is going to get the upgrade.. So even though Xplornet told me LTE was in my range, it's actually not. Fun for me.

Fairly consistent speed and pings. VPN works well. I do notice a slowdown every night between 8 and 9. Sometimes it resolves itself and sometimes I need to reboot the modem. It would be nice if the upload speed was a little higher. 1Mbps isn't a lot these days.
