Default LTE Latency

I know this is a little early, but can we expect ANY latency improvements over the 4G WiMaX system? I'm getting close to 50-70msec minimum for the closest server on 4g, and would really like to see some improvements on that. If anyone has some info on this, that would be awesome.

I have LTE and 50-70 ms is the average. The good news is it is consistently in that range - day or or night.

Did the pings improve from 4G? I'm talking overall, not only at peak hours.

Where are you located approximately? Also could you just ping an L.A server (such as 70.39.187.162 for example) and let me know your results?

On 4G I get this:

Pinging 70.39.187.162 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 70.39.187.162: bytes=32 time=149ms TTL=237
Reply from 70.39.187.162: bytes=32 time=174ms TTL=237
Reply from 70.39.187.162: bytes=32 time=159ms TTL=237
Reply from 70.39.187.162: bytes=32 time=149ms TTL=237
Reply from 70.39.187.162: bytes=32 time=159ms TTL=237

Ping statistics for 70.39.187.162:
Packets: Sent = 5, Received = 5, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 149ms, Maximum = 174ms, Average = 158ms

Thanks!

I wanted an LA server because it's where a lot of game servers are located. It's a great improvement over 150-160 ping.

I'm an hour west of you (port hope area) so our pings should be similar.

Pwegs732,

Would you mind pinging a Chicago server for me as well?

For example if you could ping 68.232.168.12 and post your results, that'd be great!

I know it'll be much lower than the L.A servers but I'm still curious to see the difference.

Great. I get around 80ms to that server with 4G... LTE should be a huge improvement.

Thanks again.
